Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute test automation software test tools ( Karate , Rest Assured) ideally KARATE
• Develop and perform performance tests using tools like Blazemeter
• Estimate test accurately and coordinate with team members for work activities.
• Apply, design and develop automated testing strategies and build automated testing frameworks.
• Analyze and verify best automated and manual test approaches
• Involve in product design to guarantee adherence of test coverage for meeting end user requirements.
• Design use cases and test cases outlining application work flow.
• Work with the Development team to capture and reuse automated Unit Test Cases, Test Stubs and Drivers, and other Development test objects.
• Prepare software defect tracking and report entire project release status to stakeholders.
Key Skills
• At least 2+ years of experience writing automation scripts in one or more programming languages
• Banking or Financial Services Experience Mandatory
• 8-10 years’ experience
• Strong experience on API testing automation and performance testing
• Experience in Requirement analysis, Test cases design, Test Execution
• Excellent Database skills.
• Ability to dig deeper into test failures and work with developers to identify a root cause
• Experience with test tools like Karate, Cucumber, Balzemeter etc.
• Experience with agile methodologies
• Excellent Team player with strong collaboration skills
• Strong attention to detail coupled with a desire to deliver accurately, efficiently, and to a high standard
About the projects you will work on
You will work 100% remotely from wherever you decide. Sometimes you may have face-to-face meetings and for that reason you have to reside in Spain or in the European Union.
You will work on projects with a leading company in digital transformation with a passion for technology and innovation in sectors such as banking (35 of the main banks worldwide work with our client), insurance, industrial and automotive in Big Data projects, Blockchain , AI, Cloud, among others.
